There are so many more detailed tests now than when Alex was first diagnosed
in 1988 that I've thought about re-doing them. But then my thought has been
exactly what you say, won't change a thing and the knowledge won't make any
difference.  So why put him through that (not to mention the out of pocket
cost to us).

 At our one year visit, he told
