[tri-med] Re: Seeking Help

Hi Susan....boy can I relate to the vomiting issues. Our Brianna has a HUGE
gag/throw up reflex with things like cat food, dog rawhide (being chewed), dog
poop, animal throw up, etc.........just the sight of these this sends her
gagging. We have to tell her, "Brianna DON'T look at it!!!". Consequently,
she
is not the one that cleans up the poops after HER Service Dog, Bayou!! LOL
In Bri's case it is all 'visual.' If she sees me feeding the babies that I
care for, she will start gagging if I don't keep their faces wiped off....just
the mushy baby food on their lips, cheeks gags her.
As a baby, she would throw up at almost every feeding at day care. I think
she was doing this because she didn't like being at daycare. It's just
amazing. With such low ability to communicate, she has found a BIG way to get
her
point across. She's also getting pretty good at hitting. This is very
upsetting. This is also our latest challenge with her. She only hit's those
that she
loves...but really hard!! Or pinches us. Her brother does not take it very
well. This has been an issue getting worse. =(
