[tri-med] Re: Seeking Help

>>>>>My name is Aimee and I am new to the list. My beautiful Trisomy 18
daughter, Rachel, is 33 months old. Rachel is a "full" T-18, but she
presents as mosaic and is considered "mild and high functioning";
nevertheless, she is still significantly delayed in her development. My
husband and I absolutely adore her.

The issue I am writing about is Rachel's frequent gagging and throwing
up.<<<<<<<<

Sounds so much like my Rebecca!!!!!!!!!

Rebecca does have reflux, and she has had a Nissan and she is on lots of
meds ( losec 20 mg tid, and motillium 10 mg 6 tabs od divided) the gagging
has gone down over the years, and she is pretty much managed on her meds
and recently a change in formula to peptumin. But
previously...............anyway the list of things that would make bec rech
and vomit........... to cold, wind in the face, having a BM, waking up
during a feed, combing the hair......ect ect ect........ a lot of the
retching was to get attention, it takes a while to figure it out, but the
retching even to get attention often got by her and led to vomiting
