With recent posts about the 2007 SOFT conference in Salt Lake City on July
4th - 8th, I just wanted to let everyone know of Noah's Never Ending
Rainbow's continued commitment in providing family assistance to SOFT
conferences. We believe that the SOFT conferences are a wonderful outlet
for Trisomy families and want families to know that, if needed, we are here
to help get them there.
For the past few years, we have collaborated with SOFT to help offset
conference expenses for dozens of families and have been a sponsor of the
conference itself. In fact, this year we are very excited to be sponsoring
the picnic. Due to confidentiality, I cannot disclose what families we have
helped but if they feel like jumping in, they can attest to the minimal
information we need to honor a request for family assistance to a SOFT
conference. We know asking for help can be humbling but again, we ask for
minimal information and you need to know that part of our mission is to
assist families who have children with Trisomy and related chromosome
disorders so if the assistance is there, please take advantage of it.
I more or less wanted everyone to know, Noah's Never Ending Rainbow is here
to help. Within limits of course but as long as we have the funds to
allocate, we will continue to provide family assistance to the SOFT
conferences for families with an angel or surviving child with Trisomy.
And for those that are so inclined, donations to Noah's Never Ending Rainbow
can be earmarked for family assistance to SOFT conferences, general family
assistance, research, awareness, etc.
