Well its getting ready to get busy here - Ryan is scheduled for surgery Feb
8th. to release the tendons in his inner thighs (adductors). this is to buy
some more time for his subluxed hips. and then we visited the ENT yesterday
his tubes had come out about 3 months ago and we were waiting to see how he
would do without them. but he again has fluid behind the ear drum affecting
his hearing again. So new tubes are scheduled to be put in at the same time
as his orthopedic surgery. I am happy that he doesn't have to go under
anesthesia twice. I have asked for an anesthesiologist who "knows' Ryan's
history especially the fever after his VSD repair last year. I'm a bit
anxious, but feel that all will go well.
His wheel chair was approved by our insurance (not the stroller we wanted) so
now we are waiting for it. I can't wait to get him out of his baby stroller.
he gets not support in it and leans way over and his pretty miserable. He is
up to almost 26 lb. and killing my back when i have to carry him.
wish us luck on the 8th of February. :0)
