Alex and I stayed in the Ronald McDonald House when we were in Salt Lake
City back in 1997. It was nice enough though I was very self conscious of
Alex's equipment being noisy during the night. We really only used it to
sleep because we were either at the hospital or the conference during the
day. I was however grateful for the extra help that the house mother
supplied because I knew no one or anything about the US really. I would stay
again without hesitation though.

It was very different to the RM Houses here in Australia though - here most
of the houses are quite new and you have your own bathroom etc.

As another option - do you have hospice houses? There are a couple here in
Australia that are an alternative for some families to RMH.
