[tri-med] Re: Regarding constipation :-(

Gary,
Mieko has constipation as well. Sometimes she doesn't
poop for more than a week.  We tried the juices too
and a prescription stool softener called lactulose.
The lactulose worked for a couple of days, but that
was it. So we transitioned Mieko to pediasure with
fiber. She had been on peptamen junior. She gets all
of her nutrtion from formula in her J tube. She takes
very little orally The new formula seems to do the
trick. She is now going almost everyday.  Hope this
helps. I know there are many others on the list with
this issue too.
