Has anyone ever had an experience with Bethanechol for reflux. It seemed to
make my daughters reflux worse and she cried after taking it almost like she
had colic. When I stop the drug she is much better. My GI specialist says
this is impossible and that he has never heard of anyone having this
reaction. I think he just doesn't believe me. I got a lecture about stopping
meds without his permission but I think I know my child better than he.
Also what meds do your kids take for reflux? Joumana is currently taking
prilosec but it doesn't work completely.
Another question, Has anyone ever had a swallow study done? We've had an
upper GI study but now we are debating about the swallow study.
Jenny Mom to Joumana 9 months PT18.
