[tri-med] Rebecca's appt today

The gastric study went well, Bec cooperated and was happy, the scan showed
that she is refluxing ( big surprise!???) and that the gastric empting is
going well ( looked fast to me) we will see what the surgeon suggests,
although after talking to him re doing the Nissan again or a GJ tube I think
I will try the medical model longer ( new formula and increased meds) also
with the new portable pump we will be able to feed her slower over longer
periods of time which I think will decrease the vomiting and increase her
hydration. On the topic of hydration when I dropped the extra regular pump
off at the school ( got it a week ago as it was a donation to the children's
centre and no one had wanted it in a few weeks, and even though I had a line
on a portable pump they were happy to be rid of it) I asked the nurse to
give her extra water. The nurse wants a dietician to see Bec, like I can't
tell she needs more free water?! Geesh! Any way now we need to see what the
dietician says.
