[tri-med] Rebecca update

As you know Bec had a high fever last week and got meds, well her fever is
down but she still has the cough and you can feel the rattle by placing your
hand on her back ( that's so bad)  they had told me that thriomax  ?sp .?
stays in your system so if  the symptoms are not gone when the does are done
to wait a few days. She was done  the med on Tuesday', and still had the
cough on Thursday so I made an appt for Friday with the pead.  On Thursday
we went to the orthopedic surgeon and the x-rays were good, her scoliosis
was better and her kyposis was the same, since last visit showed her hand
bones were fused ( suggesting no more growth) it was decided that she can go
brace free for the next 5 months!!!!!!!!!!!  Of course the x-ray for the
spine showed how crappy her lungs looked so when we went to the pead today I
told him so and he listened and now she is on prednisone....I really hope
that clears it up, she has only need to be on oral prednisone once before in
her life.
