I agree with you, I'm the same way. There have been times I've felt like a
dog chasing it's tail in search of something to tell me what I should do.

So many of us struggle/have struggled with the food issue. Alex would have
died if we'd not been able to spend the hours and hours per day on his
feeding. For the first months of his life we'd do a happy when getting 1-2
oz into him in an hour.

Unlike you we were never offered alternative, it never came up. Anywhere at
any time. So we did what we HAD to do.

As a result Alex has always been an oral eater and a very sparse one. Until
the GHT (growth hormone therapy). At that time he began to occasionally ASK
for food--previously unheard of. Even now that he's done with the GHT his
eating remains better than before.

However, he only ate "soft" foods until he was in his later toddler years.He
was approx 5 before he really began to eat table meats.

Hang in there and TRY not to stress too much. Easier said then done.  :0)
