[tri-med] Quiet evening finally.

Hannah has finally settled down. She is still biting herself (tounge and
mouth) so we are trying to keep on top of that. A very sweet friend picked
up her dafos and other orthotics today for us (they have been ready for
about 3 weeks now but we haven't been able to get over there) so we can now
keep her from pointing her toes for parts of the day. Gotta get her used to
those again! I didn't want to put her hand splints on today as I was afraind
they would be covered with blood fairly quickly.

We had a minor set back on the home nursing front but it's really just a
bump in the road. Our BCBS case manager was out today so the nursing agency
wasn't able to get paperwork and information they need that we hoped to take
care of today. They will be doing that first thing in the morning and then,
hopefully, the RN Supervisior will come here to the hospital tomorrow
afternoon for the intake interview. Having her come here and see Hannah is
probably best as she will see what all we are dealing with. After that it's
just a matter of how soon we can get her nurse to start. I am fairly
confident that we will be home before Christmas and hope that it will be by
the weekend.

We got the word that Hannah has been changed to the TennCare plan she needs
to be on so that was approved. And I spoke to someone in the TennCare PHP
office today to arrange for her to be assigned to her own pediatrician.
Since they aren't taking new TennCare patients TennCare PHP has to call and
verify that they will take her and then send out new ID cards. Her doc's
office knows that call is coming so it won't be a problem.

Oh... the infant daughter of someone we know and think very highly of is
here and had surgery today. Please keep her, her twin and their family in
your thoughts and prayers too.

Again, thanks for all your thoughts and prayers for Hannah. Good night.
