I read alot of information on all that is written on this tri-med list an=
d
am very interested.=0D
This lot i read about weight gain i agree on. my son Kye has t14
mosaicism and also finds it hard to GAIN weight but being on pedisure has
mad a huge difference. we use the powder form and put the scoops in his
milk to add extra calories. As his condition is very rare (same as hann=
ah
s i have been reading about) it is very hard to know what to do, but as
mums we keep learning and trying different ideas.=0D

I would definitely agree that that is a generalization that isn't always
correct. Morgan may have started out small, but by 4 mos. (we have photo=
s
in an album where he goes from one pic scrawny to the next one having a b=
ig
balloony face) he was a chubby guy, very roly poly. As it goes with many
toddlers he slimmed down for awhile, the dr. wanted more calories in him.=
=20
But now he is on a diet. He gains weight so easily, but we have had him =
at
the same weight now (73 lbs.) for about 3 mos. We don't want him gaining
more at the moment, but we don't want him to lose anything. We went from=
4
cans of pediasure a day plus anything he wanted to eat orally (he had gai=
ned
10 lbs. in less than 6 mos., popped a Bard button right out due to that
weight gain) to 2 cans of pediasure and more oral foods.=0D
