I would definitely agree that that is a generalization that isn't always
correct. Morgan may have started out small, but by 4 mos. (we have photos in
an album where he goes from one pic scrawny to the next one having a big
balloony face) he was a chubby guy, very roly poly. As it goes with many
toddlers he slimmed down for awhile, the dr. wanted more calories in him. But
now he is on a diet. He gains weight so easily, but we have had him at the
same weight now (73 lbs.) for about 3 mos. We don't want him gaining more at
the moment, but we don't want him to lose anything. We went from 4 cans of
pediasure a day plus anything he wanted to eat orally (he had gained 10 lbs. in
less than 6 mos., popped a Bard button right out due to that weight gain) to 2
cans of pediasure and more oral foods.
