Alex used a bottle until he was 3. At that point it was just for an evening
feeding. We couldn't get Alex off the bottle until I went back to work 2
days per week and Alex went to an in-home daycare with a very wise and
loving woman. Alex saw all the other kids drinking out of cups/sippee cups
and she worked with him one day. And he was then drinking out of a cup. lol
But he was such a SLOW drinker that we "supplemented" with bottles as well
because he needed the liquids.

Never underestimate the power of peer modeling!
