[tri-med] Re: Question

With this all being new to me -- did any of you breast feed your babies??
How long??


Yes three days because even at 5lb 3oz and scrawny she clamped down on me in
frustration and I gave up because it  HURT!!!  And with the doom and gloom
the drs had given us I didn't want to end up full of milk with no baby!!  So
I did the WRONG thing and took the meds to dry up my milk.....NEVER EVER DO
THIS!!!  THEY ARE EVIL!!  I suffered hallucinations and all sorts.  In
hindsight <yeah I know I know> I would have pumped and fed breastmilk but I
was already grieving and not thinking straight and NO-ONE gave us any
feeding tips before we left the hospital we had to 'wing' it on our own.
AND I would have made sure I knew how to insert an NG (wasn't a nurse back
then) and would have tube fed her <ok hindsight bug again!!!>

Don't worry about the world coming to an end tomorrow it's already tomorrow
