Nicole,
Morgan never really did take a bottle.  He was g-tube fed only until he was
6 mos. old and then he started on a sippy cup.  He took to it right away. 
He always did best with the type that had no valve and only 1 hole in the
lid for the milk to come out of.  It was never a problem for him to get too
much liquid in his mouth, he didn't choke.  He would either swallow it or
it would run back out of his mouth.  Those cups with the valves were too
hard for him to get anything out of if the valve was in.  He can drink out
of an open cup and with a short straw now.
