Tracey,
My kids and myself all have braces now! Never thought I'd get em in my 40's. 
I'm happy I did it though and mine can be removed (Invisalign). Now Brianna 
has been our challenge. This is her second set of braces. She hates to brush 
her 
teeth, but the ortho gave her an electric brush. She tries to sneak and brush 
with it turned off.....that girl is so very sneaky. We only got her top 
braces on, so we'll see how she does. When brother and Mom got them, she really 
wanted them. She even chose my favorite color bands, pink. 
She did have to get the molds done while she was having other dental surgery 
though(while asleep).......due to her extreme gag reflex.
