[tri-med] Re: Platitudes you hate

I have noticed over the last few years I
prefer comfort to looking good and prefer elastic waists. Definitely a sign
of old age and that I am turning into my mother!!! But because its
thanksgiving - thankyou to whoever invented elastic!!

Oh, those pants came in handy yesterday!? My SIL was so great.? I asked her
hubby (my dh's brother)what I could do to help.? He started to give me
something to do but my SIL said, "I would have said,Nothing...and go sit down
and relax."? With that she told me to go in the living room and relax, it was
my turn today.? So I grabbed a plate with some appetizers and did just that.? I
can not believe how much I ate.
I realized that I rarely sit down for a whole meal (between Michael and
Birgitta).? Yesterday there were plenty of people from my SIL side that wanted
to play with Michael and feed Birgitta.?? It was such a luxury.

Ah yes - but now you have been reminded why you are so thankful this year
:-))

My age is catching up with me - my entire life I have always worn waisted
pants and usually quite tight. I have noticed over the last few years I
prefer comfort to looking good and prefer elastic waists. Definitely a sign
of old age and that I am turning into my mother!!! But because its
thanksgiving - thankyou to whoever invented elastic!!

Life consists not in holding good cards but in playing those you hold well.
