In the last month we have had a 9 month old and a seven year old die of
malnutrition and starvation - two different families. With the 9 month old
the doctor didn't "notice" or think that she was all that bad. With the 
seven
year old everyone knew (meaning children's services and even doctors) but no
one thought to get the police to order a break in. Sorry my own bitterness
showing there just a little.
