Hi Tiffany,
My son, Morgan, has an unbalanced translocation.  He has partial t18q and 
partial monosomy 9p.  My hubby is a carrier of the balanced translocation.  The 
one thing about translocations is that you will very rarely find someone who 
has the exact same translocation.  Even if you find someone who has a 
translocation between the same chromosomes the breakpoints are hardly ever 
identical, unless it is a relative.  Morgan had cousin who had the same 
translocation as him, hubby's brother was her dad, unfortunately she passed 
away 2 1/2 yrs.ago.
