Penny,
I just looked and mine is 21.0 Mine is from AMO not Alcon. Can't =
remember
if my eye was bloodshot or not but I can see where Devon's might be, as
active as he is. Couldn't hurt to call and ask.

Subject: [tri-med] Question about post op cataract surgery and lens ?
Hi Everyone :o)
Devon's eye is all blood shot today. It's probably perfectly normal =
because
after all, his eye has had a lot done to it right? I guess I just need =
to
hear someone tell me it's normal for it to be bloodshot? We've been
religious about putting the 3 different drops in at breakfast, lunch, =
dinner
and bedtime. He's not bothering it. When the patch is off, he has his =
mitts
on and one of us watching him at all times and at times like now, we =
have
the mitts off and the patch on taped really well. Kind of a test to see =
if
we can leave the mitts off tonight since he was really aware of them =
last
night and one of the things that kept him awake.

The other question is more out of curiosity. The Alcon rep gave us a =
card
with the intraocular lens implant info on it. Devon's is a Acrysof =
Natural
IOL with a blue UV light filter. I read about it and it sounds perfect =
for
him. The power of the lens is 30.0. Is that really strong or weak or
somewhere in the middle? I don't question whether it's the proper lens.I
trust that they put the one in that best suited all of Devon's =
anomalies.I'm
just curious if it's a really strong one or what?
