Michelle, how does one as young as you become so wise? Your answer was so
beautifully put, I'm extremely jealous of your ability to put your thoughts
into such perfect words!!
Jeff, welcome to the list, and congratulations on your son. I'm sorry you
have reason to find us, but since you do, this is the best place to be. I
don't have experience with T-13, but we did have our daughter Anna's T-18
diagnosis prenatally, so I can understand some of the feelings and emotions
you and your wife are going through. Tell us more about your son's issues,
and any questions you or your wife have. This list was a godsend while we
were going through the pregnancy, and no question was too stupid.
Take care.
Ceci, mom to angel Anna, T-18, 9/22/98 - 12/13/98, Maria, age 23 and on her
own, Joe, 12 years old and wife to John.

Hi Jeff and welcome to this site. Right now
everything is probably very difficult to understand
about trisomy and there is a lot to learn. What you
will learn is that we all walk a different path with
our kids but our feelings are all the same. We love
them anyway! Some parents here still have their child
with them, others have had to say goodbye. We are all
forever changed because of them. I wish you the best
in your journey and I will pray for you, your wife,
your son, and will pray that your family can embrace
your son despite this issue. Please take care,
Michelle Wilson, mother to Faren-trisomy 18 and 6
years old
