[tri-med] Re: Our baby

Our son, David, had the diaphragmatic hernia (with all of the organs in the
chest) and the two vessel umbilical cord.  He did not have the other things
mentioned.  The surgeons waited 2 days for him to die, and when he didn't,
they did the surgery on the diaphragmatic hernia.  Because he was so small
(2 1/2 lbs.), only one lung was compromised.  Before birth, we got all of
the "suggestions" to terminate the pregnancy because of all of the things
wrong.

David is now 14 and doing well.  He struggles with Math, but reads well and
walks, talks (and talks back).
