[tri-med] Re: Not a medical dictionary....

Don't let Karen try to underplay her accomplishments. She is probably 
one of the reasons Tess is still here with us, as she turned up at 
the hospital with information about the other surviving children and 
also Alex. She is a classic example of a strong determined woman, who 
did tertiary education at a later age, who could be a doctor or 
anything she likes. She has a bright keen mind eager for information 
(as she said). I hold her in the greatest respect. Her chosen field 
OT has given her information and expertise that she passed on to us 
all. In a way it is fate that brought Alex into her life and 
consequently ours. If she had not chosen to give up her career and 
look after Alex OUR world would be a lesser place and the medical 
profession a richer one, but as it is fate or God was pointing her in 
our direction.
