Still no adverse reaction from the flu shot.  She didn't even cry when she
got it, though she totally refused to let them put a band aid on it.

The g-tube surgery was on Feb 1st.  She was released from rehab on Mar 16th
still only taking a few bites per meal.  I took her back a couple of months
ago to visit the nurse who gave me so much grief about my bolus feeding
plans.
She was totally amazed at the change in the girl.  She had sworn there was
no
way I would ever be able to feed THAT CHILD without a pump.  Now Philina
brings me the equipment, and a can of Kindercal when SHE feels she needs or
wants one.  She even drinks part of the can with a straw sometimes.
Remember
they swore she wouldn't because it doesn't taste good enough on it's own.
But the best part is, she even helps hold her own bolus tube for feedings.

Her 6 month rehab follow-up clinic appointment was cancelled the day before
her appointment.  Seems Dr Lewis isn't doing rehab anymore, and whoever the
doctor is who's suppose to be taking over for him still hasn't called us to
reschedule.  That was 2 weeks ago last Friday.  Sure glad she's not
critical.
Think my biggest disappointment is that I'd planned on asking him what, if
anything, we should plan to do about the Moya Moya.  But the one thing I do
know about the new doctor taking over is that he's not a neurologist.
She's
seen 5 different neurologists in that office, and now none of them are
"officially" her doctor.  Oh well........
