[tri-med] Re: Nissen Fudoplication undone?

I may be wrong about this but this is my take...

We weren't told that the Nissen was "temporary=B4 either. But look at =
the
different ways you can define the word temporary.=20

My take it that it is NOT temporary in the sense that they put it in =
with
the intent to go back 6 months later to take it out. It's "temporary" in =
the
sense that they put it in and the body is the one who decides when it =
comes
undone. So in that sense I can see why a doctor would not tell someone =
it
was temporary. After all... they aren't planning on reversing it.=20

We WERE told that there was a possibility that it would come undone. So
until if and when that happens, it's permanent as long as it lasts. Sort =
of
like an ice sculpture.

Like I said... just my take.
