[tri-med] Re: Nissen Fudoplication undone?

Hi Sarah,
Caroline's nissen never stopped her vomiting, but it helped it SO much. She
also had a huge hiatal hernia, so the nissen at least fixed that problem,
even if it didn't stop all the vomiting.

She also has been on Prevacid since she was 6 months old, and that also has
been a big help. I initially thought she would need a nissen re-do, but
have since learned, thanks to the list, that a re-do is very uncommon.

I would be a little concerned about the blood clots, but not about the
vomiting. Maybe she needs a stronger reflux med?

Take Care,
Irene
