She has been battling reflux and we just found out, and corrected, severe
hydrocephalus. The drs are eager to also quickly put her through the Nissen
procedure along with a possible g-tube.

Irene,
Mari has SEVERE reflux....actually violent vomiting everytime she eats. She
has been ng-tube or g-tube fed most of her life. Her vomiting didn't begin
until we increased the volume of her feeds & moved her feedings to daytime
only. She was only able to get about 30 cc of milk in before she'd fall
asleep. So...I've researched nissens on the internet, but we've decided not
to pursue for Mari. She'd probably just blow it back open. We're going to
try pump feeding during the day & changing her medicines or dosages. She
takes Reglan four times per day and Zantac two times per day. There are
several here that have fundos...so I'm sure they can help. Best of luck.
It's horrible to watch your child go through this each day.
