Philina always feels warm too, even though her temp is usually 
lower then what's considered normal.  I always figured it was 
a high metabolism function, since she also has a hard time 
gaining weight, regardless of how much she eats.

Use to cause me a great deal of grief with a certain school
nurse, who wasn't familiar with axillary temps (seemed to think
I made them up to annoy her), didn't have a rectal thermometer, 
and was afraid to try putting a glass oral one in Philina's 
mouth (didn't blame her there). But I always wondered just what 
cracker jack box she got her RN license out of.  Obviously never
worked in the real world...This was the "delightful" creature, 
who attached a nurse's report to Philina's 4 yr IEP that insinuated
I was a negligent mom, without ever actually using the word.
