[tri-med] Nicholas

Nicholas is out of the hospital, but his right leg started to swell up. So,
his pediatrician sent him to get a doppler ultrasound of the veins in his legs
to rule out a blood clot. He said the swelling is not due to fluid build up.
Well, that test came out o.k. - no blood clots, but his leg is still swollen.
I've contacted his ortho and they are going to do an MRI on Dec. 1st of his
lower back. He just started to sit up two days ago by himself, but in certain
positions he is still in pain (mostly on his back when I change his diaper).
We've done a bone scan of the entire body to rule out infections and breaks.
No answers yet. He is unable to crawl or put any weight on his legs. I still
think he hurt his back somehow when he had the seizure. Would a pinched nerve
or something else in the back cause a swollen leg?
