[tri-med] Nicholas

We were home from the hospital for two weeks and Nicholas went back in on 
Sunday.  He had a seizure on Sunday and was o.k. but had a nasty b.m. that ran 
down his cast and soaked the gauze near the incision site so we had to get the 
cast removed.  We thought we would get it put back on the next day, but he got 
a temp of 103 and they found pseudomonas in his urine and is on I.V. 
antibiotics for that.  They also found MRSA in his groin area (not infection, 
just colonized).  He also will not move his right arm so they did x-rays today 
(Wed), but we don't know the results yet.  He is to have his hip spica cast put 
back on in the O.R. tomorrow late afternoon.  We are hoping to return home by 
Friday or Saturday.
