[tri-med] Re: New with questions

Welcome Stephanie,

You have come to the right place to get lots of help from people who
experience what you are going through on a day to day basis. There are a
couple of Trisomy 14's on the list, maybe not quite the same as Ryan but
I'm sure they will chime in. I'm here because of our grand daughter Tess
who will be eight next February, and who has full Trisomy 18. We were also
told to take her home to die, but Tess had other ideas. Tess's Dad (our son
Ian) and her mother are divorced, but the whole family loves this little
girl and we all try to make her life as happy as possible. I am sorry to
hear you lost another child to Trisomy complications, that must be very
hard for you. But just take each day at a time, and enjoy Ryan while he is
with you, which could be for a long time, or a short time. Glad you found
us. Where abouts in the world do you live?
