[tri-med] Re: New to the group/Bard button valve leaking intermittently

Just called the hospital, they feel that the leaking is probably because the
valve is not working anymore. That could be caused by too much venting. (the
device that keeps pushing on the valve inside). We didn't know, and had been
venting before every feed! Advice is just 1) leave the tube in for a while
till stomach digests the feed a little or 2) quickly close the hole after a
feed. They don't see the urgency to change the button any earlier than 6
monthly.
