That's not something I've heard before.

Start pumping breast milk and freezing it (using the Playtex disposible bags
is clean and easy).
I worked part time after Molly was born. I went back at 3 months and Molly
was fed breast milk for 12 months, FULL TIME. When I wasn't working I
nursed her. The breast milk bottle was for my working days and the very rare
leaving of her otherwise.
If you get a supply of breast milk in the freezer you can leave her for a
day. If your pump doesn't travel well you can manually express milk for your
comfort while you are at the hospital. Some days that was easier for me than
using the manual pump (never had a battery or electric one, couldn't afford
them).

It is that way isn't it?!?! It's exposure and experience that those who
are only with the kids for a few waking hours per day lack vs those who are
in it 24/7 do lack.
Although, a few times over the years a new set of eyes unjaded can pick up
something that I, being closer to the situation, may not even contemplate.
That's one of the reasons that Jim has never missed an 'important' appt or
consultation. We each pick up things the other doesn't and we are both
starting at the same point with knowledge.
Good luck and let us know what's happening!
