[tri-med] New baby

 Hi Everyone,  I had joined this group some time ago under my yahoo screen
name and haven't been able to get any mail for the past however many months.
So I'm now using hotmail in order to be able to receive mail.  As some of
youmay know, I have a 2 1/2 yr old grandson, Julian, who is mosaic partial
trisomy 1. His mother (my daughter) was recently pregnant with baby number 2
and was found to have a 2 vessel umbilical cord. I knew about the risks
involved with having another trisomy baby because of the abnormal cord but
I'm happy to say, she had the baby this past Monday and she appears to be
A-Okay. They are still going to do genetic testing on her but she has no
obvious signs at this point of any disorder. Her name is Lucy Elizabeth,
8lbs2oz. and 21 1/4 inches.     I was so worried for this
baby..............Thank you all for listening to me and giving me words of
encouragement when my daughter was first pregnant.
