coordinator told us the pump wouldn't be forever and to 'get her over the
hump'.

But it is something sticking in my craw .... honestly I am feeling rushed
into this,

I have been given so many ideas to try that I feel they should be explored
and

Gtube be the last resort. I was excited she put on 8oz in 2 weeks after
being sick

most of November, but not enough on her 'chart'. Her small incline evened
out &

it's from her getting sick. They said the thrush causes a reduction in
appetite too.<<<<<<<<<<

go with your gut feeling, but to tell my story the only reason we delayed
the g-tube was on the advise of an other mother, now mind you her kids were
older by about 10 years and the treatment choices she had were a lot less.
Any way when we finally agreed to the g-tube we did it with out the nissen (
on my friends advice/lecturing, ) in hind site I regretted it and 6 yrs
later had the Nissen done. So my advise is listen to everyone and your
heart........... even if you go with the g-tube ( and I have to admit I am
biased) you only need to use it when needed, ie when she is sick. Or for
meds ect you can still feed orally. And it can get you through the hump

Don't fight with dragons, for you are crunchy and good with Ketchup.
