Holly,
I forgot to mention that the lady at the insurance said that if the
hospital knew that it wasn't going to be covered and they didn't inform
me that it wasn't going to be, then they can not bill me for it. He
said...she said type deal. I don't exactly know what is going on. I
think that the insurance should have said no it wont be covered because
it was provided by the hospital not EI but they didn't. But, it took
awhile for that to get caught onto. Basically, the insurance can't even
tell me if it is because of her dx or because of the place of service.
Thanks for the reply.

Nicole,
What I can't understand is why the hospital therapy would even see
Sierra
if the insurance did not approve the therapy. At the local hospital
here
they will not see a child for therapy until the insurance coverage has
been
confirmed. It seems to me that this is more a mistake made by the
therapy
dept., until you find out why you were told Sierra would be covered and
then she wasn't. The hospital should have told you. That is all so
very
frustrating for you. I really hope you can get this straightened out.
