I do regret the feeding tube because she ended up
being able to eat on her own just 3 months after they
put it in.  I also believe it caused her alot of pain.
 That is most likely not true for all kids with
g-tubes.  Our situation is different from yours
because Marissa is 3 years old.  She is not a newborn
like Faren was when they placed the tube.  You have
given Marissa alot of time to eat on her own, where as
in Faren's case, they didn't give us a choice.  They
made us make plans for g-tube surgury before we could
take her home.
