[tri-med] Re: Need reassurance

Julie,
Thanks for introducing your family and little Emma to us! Sounds like
she's a fighter already. While our Keren (T18) didn't have as many of
the internal issues that Emma's been facing, we had our rounds of ups
and downs that first year, and life still sometimes seems to be an
endless series of check-ups and therapies! Still, I wouldn't change
any of the steps we took, and Keren is a joy!

I guess my only word is an echo of others--If you see that Emma is
fighting for life, why not fight with her (as you're already doing).
I'm sorry you have to face the negative attitude of the doctors. That
was something we blessedly didn't run into, and I've come to know since
how many do have to face that. I'll never take our positive experience
for granted. But maybe you guys can turn the tide for those doctors!
Maybe Emma's life will help them wake up a little!

Once again, welcome, and I hope you are able to get the reassurance you
need.
