--our son tyler was born with t13, heart defect, no eyes. everything else
was"normal"except that he
needed a gtube. we went through a lot of the same stuff you are talking
about-doctors assuming your child won't live, etc. i know in my heart that
darrell and i gave tyler every chance at the best life he could have- he
deserved no less. i think you are doing the right thing if your heart tells
you it is so. no one else will ever understand your child as well as you
do, nor will they ever know what is right for you. do what is best for
emma. it IS exhausting, gut wrenching and difficult on a slow day, but i
will never be sorry for any of the choices we made as parents. make sure
you follow your heart.
my prayers are with you and little emma
pam, husband darrell, mum to angel tyler t13 and kira 2.5
