Ok, I know everyone is busy these days, but there is a family nearby whose baby daughter started out doing well even though she has a medium sized hole in her heart. The baby is progressing toward heart failure and the family doesn't know what to do. They don't know whether to have the surgury or not and they also don't know whether they will have a surgeon to do it. Can anyone whose child has been through heart surgury, particularly as babies, whether they passed during surgury or lived on please send an email, it doesn't have to be long, saying that they've been through this? Even those who decided to not have surgury, could you write in to say why not and what the outcome was?? Like I said I know everyone is busy, but I think she wants to meet up soon and I would like to have some info to give her that comes straight from experienced families and not from books. If anyone wouldn't mind even sending their phone numbers to me privately agreeing that this family could call or if you agree to give the ok to give them your email addresses that would be great too.
