Did I ever tell you about the time I put a whole patch on Dom's back UNDER
the plastic girdle part of his Milwaukee brace. I figured because he sweat so
much it would be a good way to keep it from slipping off. It was during the
summer and about two hours after he got to school his teacher called me in a
panic
to say that he was falling asleep and they couldn't wake him up. I knew right
away what had happened and I had them get Kaila from her class and go over
and take off the brace (teachies were so afraid of that brace, I had to have my
12 year old kid take it off and put it on him for PE.) They didn't want to
take the patch off themselves, guess they thought all of his air would escape
and
he would fly around the room backwards. I got to the school just a few
minutes after Kaila had taken the brace off and thanks to his sweat, the patch
fell
off anyway. He was a little dopey for a couple of hours, but it passed......or
did it????? Hmmmm, never considered that was the cause. LOL
