Well Alex is the exception. The doctors told me that I was feeding him way
to much. I went with my gut and fed him what I felt he needed and so long as
he grew without getting fat I figured it was OK.

Recently we had reason to revisit the speech pathologist from those days
(one of the ones telling me that I was expecting too much and feeding him
too much). She had to admit that I was right and that he obviously did OK my
way. Certainly way, way better than she expected, but then they expected a
him to be broccoli :-(

lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny
ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of
energy and daring those ripples build a current which can weep down the
mightiest walls of oppression and injustice."
