MediCal is CA's version of mediaid. We have a family practice doc up here in 
Valley Center who sees the whole family and he is a great guy. He has several 
other special needs patients whose parents are also his patients. His name is 
Roy Johnson and he is also the county snakebite specialist and identifier of 
local reptiles. That is how we got to know him in the first place. He only sees 
patients in VC, but he shares an offie with a guy who also has offices in 
Escondido and he is Dr. Greb. I like him a lot to, but he can be a bit 
ascerbic, 
especially if you don't follow his directions. He is Kaila's primary, but she  
likes him and they seem to fit ok. If either of them is on your list, check 
them out. I don't know if they are talking new mediCal, though
