[tri-med] Morgan's new stander

We got Morgan's new stander this past week. It is so cool! It is the Easy
Stand 3000 youth model by Altimate medical. It is a sit to stand stander. I
just sit him in it, like a desk, there is a lap belt and a shoulder harness
that I strap up, strap his feet in and flip over this knee support thingy and
then pump him up until he is standing. You can have the child standing as
straight as you want or if they have knee joint contractures they can stand
with knees partially bent, etc. It has an oversized tray with the tilt tray
option. I have it set for the smallest size it can go right now. I don't
think Morgan will ever outgrow it. He is about 50 inches and it goes to 5'9"
and Morgan is 70 lbs. and it will go up to 150 lbs. For the smaller kiddos,
they do make a pediatric version.

I am going to take some pics of him in it. If anybody is interested in seeing
these let me know.

"Never underestimate the ponderings of a Christian parent. Never underestimate
the power that comes when a parent pleads with God on behalf of a child. Who
knows how many prayers are being answered right now because of the faithful
ponderings of a parent ten or twenty years ago? God listens to thoughtful
parents.

Praying for our children is a noble task. If what we are doing, in this
fast-paced society, is taking us away from prayer time for our children, we're
doing too much. There is nothing more special, more precious than time that a
parent spends struggling and pondering with God on behalf of a child."
