I agree that should happen with things like dressing appropriately. However
the reality of the situation is that sometimes we have to do "necessary"
dressing, such as bibs (or subsitute bibs if you find bibs unacceptable)
for dribbling, especially in cold weather, to prevent chilling. It is a
fact that most of our kids wear nappies (diapers) for their entire
lifetime, and we wouldn't dream of sending them to school in ordinary
underpants. I'm all for what makes for a clean comfortable situation, what
ever that takes.
I was interested to read about Morgan's standing/walking accomplishments,
bravo. I have not observed Tess in her walker recently, as it is with her
Mummy, but Tess also used to resort to hanging in it. She did walk a few
steps at first, but then it was just as if she said "Ive shown you I can do
that, what's the point".
