Hi Laurie :o)
I haven't ever known anyone who's child has/had missing teeth which makes me
believe that it's maybe not so common in the general
population...BUT...Devon has at least one missing tooth...so I believe it
most definitely could be connected to the trisomy 13. I've said it
before...there are no coincidences!!! When Devon was a baby and his teeth
came in...he was always missing 1 of the 4 bottom teeth that are the flat
ones between the pointy bicuspids. There have been 3 there....very tiny and
with lots of space between them. Now...as Devon has many of his adult
teeth...the same one on the bottom is still missing and there is still space
between those teeth!! And one of the 3 tiny ones (on the bottom) that ARE
there, one is VERY pointy....not flat like the other 2. Wierd???
Maybe....but no coincidence in my opinion :o) Hope this helps in some way
:o) Good Luck!
