[tri-med] Minerals/Fructose compounding -- Long

Surveys show that 97% of Americans have some sort of
nutritional deficiency! Almost everyone today
understands the need to take vitamins and minerals to
supplement their diet and enhance their immune system.
The soils have been depleted, our food supply is not
what it was years ago and the exposure to the world
around us now is not what our parents and earlier had
to deal with. For example, according to the United
States Department of Agriculture, it takes as many as
75 bowls of spinach grown today to deliver the same
amount of iron in one bowl of spinach grown in 1948.
Even Popeye would keel over taking that much LOL What
they don't know is that in some cases the minerals are
not absorbed into the body and so their impact is
dramatically lessened. It is important to be assured
that whatever vitamin and mineral complex you are
taking is easily absorbed.

When it comes to the absorption of vitamins or
minerals some companies claim that if a supplement is
not in a capsule, softgel or liquid, then they are not
absorbed and are totally worthless. I disagree.
Without
question, many inexpensive tablet supplements are not
broken down in the digestive tract before they are
eliminated because of the binding agents used to form
the tablet.

How well are vitamins and minerals absorbed? When
people experience yellow color in their urine after
taking their supplements, most of the yellow color is
from the B group of vitamins, not from the minerals.
Minerals are not visually seen in the urine. Other
than the fat-soluble vitamins like vitamin A, the body
will utilize what it needs and eliminates the vitamins
that it doesn?t need. Transporting minerals across the
intestinal lining and into the cell is more difficult
than absorbing and utilizing vitamins. All minerals
are naturally occurring elements that are found in the
earth. Minerals cannot be made synthetically. They are
essential, meaning you have to get them from your
diet. Our bodies are made up mostly of minerals and
water. Every living cell in your body depend on
minerals for proper function. The body cannot
manufacture minerals. Although many of the essential
minerals are required in trace amounts, it is critical
that the cells have them daily.

So "fructose compunding" enters the world... here is
what it does...

The fructose molecule is a six-carbon ring structure.
The fructose compounding process removes the 6th
carbon and substitutes an atom of the essential
minerals in its place at that site. This is a
pre-bonding process that prevents the minerals from
being separated into positive or negative ions in the
stomach. The mineral is not released from the
substituted fructose ring structure until reaching the
cell, thereby avoiding the toxic release of mineral
ions into the digestive tract and blood stream like
other chelated forms of minerals. Most importantly,
the substituted fructose ring structure carrying the
mineral in the supplement is readily absorbed into the
cell. The amount of fructose required for the
daily-recommended dosage would be equivalent to eating
approximately ½ of a cherry. Diabetics don?t have to
worry about getting too much sugar from the Fructose
compounded minerals. Fruit sugars or fructose is not
dependent upon insulin to cross the cell membrane like
glucose. When minerals like chromium, which improves
glucose metabolism, gets into the cell, as in the case
of the substituted fructose supplement, most diabetics
will require less insulin.

Another important consideration is that fructose is a
carbohydrate and like all carbohydrates, except in the
case of a diabetic or someone with kidney disease,
carbohydrates are not eliminated in the urine.
Carbohydrates are either burned to fuel the muscles
and the brain, converted to glycogen, or converted to
fat. Carbohydrates will all eventually be converted to

glucose in the cell. In other words all carbohydrates
end-up as ?sugar? which is the main fuel for the
muscles and the brain. Most animals in nature risk
their lives to get fat so they can survive the winter.
Under normal conditions the body doesn?t want to get
rid of carbohydrates, it wants to store and save them.
Think about fructose with the minerals attached to
them. Do you think that fructose is eliminated in the
urine? Fructose is a carbohydrate and since
carbohydrates are not normally eliminated in the
urine, wouldn?t you think that the absorption rate may
be HIGHER?

Fructose Compounding is a methodology perfected and
patented by a company I represent that allows for this
absorption to take place. So, you get the nutrition
at the cellular level and that can make a HUGE
difference in its effectiveness. There are many
companies out there, several products, just do your
research and give it a try.... okay I'm taking a
breath now LOL and
don't E-V-E-N get me started in the fiber area LOL was
at a seminar last Thursday evening and I'm loaded to
gills with info on everything : )
