Penny,
When we changed insurance about 3 yrs. ago this is how it worked for us, we
were changing from Principal Healthcare HMO (my old work) to Blue
Cross/Blue Shield (Mike's new work): There is a clause that says that you
can deduct time from that waiting time (you mentioned 6-12 mos. before
Devon could be covered) if the person with the condition was previously
covered by insurance. So since Morgan had always been covered previously
there ended up being no waiting period.
